Understanding your first bill

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Just signed up with Splice? Here's how your billing works, where to find your invoices, and what to expect on your first one.

How billing cycles work

Your billing cycle starts on the day your service is activated, not the day you sign up. From that date, you’ll be billed monthly in advance for your service.

For example, if your service goes live on the 10th of the month, your billing cycle will run from the 10th to the 9th each month after that.

Where to find your invoices

You can view and download your invoices anytime by logging into your customer portal at my.splice.au.

Each invoice will show:

  • Your service period

  • Plan details and charges

  • Any discounts, add-ons, or one-time fees

  • Your total amount due and due date

What to expect on your first invoice

Your first invoice may look a little different because it includes:

  • A pro-rata charge from your activation date to the end of that first billing cycle

  • Your first full month of service in advance

  • Any setup or hardware fees (if applicable)

  • Any promotional discounts or credits applied to your plan

This means your first invoice might be higher than usual, but future ones will settle into a regular monthly amount.

If anything looks unclear or you need help reading your invoice, we’re happy to walk you through it.
