How to track your connection progress

Want to know how close you are to going live? Our online tools make it easy to follow your order from start to finish.

Order status check

We’ll keep you informed at each stage via SMS and email. You’ll hear from us:

  • When your order is received

  • When installation work begins

  • When your lead-in is complete

  • When your service is activated

If you're not sure, don't hesitate to reach out to the team who can let you know where things are at.

What each status means

  • Lead-in order received – We’ve confirmed your order and booked your installation date.

  • In progress – Rural Fibre Co is carrying out the work to bring the cable to your premises.

  • Installed – Your lead-in is in place and ready for service activation.

  • Online – Your plan is active, and you can start using your internet service.

Note: If your property is already connected to the Rural Fibre Co network, you’ll skip straight to Installed after sign-up – meaning you can go live sooner.

Tip: If you ever see a status that hasn’t changed for a while, contact our support team – sometimes we’re waiting on access or permissions to keep things moving.
