What is the difference between Planned, Serviceable, and Orderable?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

When you check your address in our availability tool, you’ll see one of three connection types. These show where your property is in the Rural Fibre Co network rollout.

Planned

  • What it means: Your address is on the rollout map, but we haven’t built the network to your street yet.

  • Next step: Keep an eye out for updates – you’ll get a letter in the mail when we’re ready to connect your street.

Serviceable

  • What it means: The network is at your street curb, but there’s no lead-in cable from the street to your house yet.

  • Next step: Sign up online and book an installation date. We’ll install the lead-in and connect you to the network.

Orderable

  • What it means: Your property already has a Rural Fibre Co lead-in cable installed. You can order a service right now.

  • Next step: Sign up with Splice Internet, choose your plan, and we’ll activate your service.

Tip: If you’re not sure which stage you’re at, use our address checker on the website – it will tell you instantly.
